95neon_thumper82
I got three baskets from a buddy... they need new voice coils. .. and spiders and of course surrounds. now I was wondering for future reference how does one get the rms wattage for a custom sub.... say you have a 200 oz motor and a dvc 2ohm vc. what wattage can I expect to be able to put to it... I plan to look at building some subs.... just because I want to. I looked up 15 inch baskets and motors vcs and spiders.... also surrounds. but how do you figure if that sub will take the 1600w I want to give it... or how would I figure out the components need to build two 1600w (for instance) subs? <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option!
