BIGGAME510 Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Have a question looking for some answeres, I have the sundown sd shallow SD12 d4 coils running it on a fosgate T1000 1 ch amp. I had it in a silverado crew cab in a 1.8-1.7 ported box port tuned at 33-35hz down firing . went up in smoke burned both coils. Ive heard these things were power hungry was i just crazy to run the 1000 thought it could handle it . had it running at 2ohms sent it back in for a recone gonna get a d2 coil and run it at 4 ohm. Im cramped for space I may get 2 of the SD-D4-10s try a sealed box or see if i can calk another ported box for the 10s. any ideas or info would be help full thanks guys and gals.
