Line out converter

I have a question about line output converters because I'm thinking about hooking one up to a stock head unit.

When you look at tis one: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_46219_NVX-XPLOC4.html

It says it has 150w per channel.

But if you look at this one: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67777_Rockford-Fosgate-RF-HLC4.html

It doesn't say anything about watts per channel.

What exactly do they mean when listing the watts for a line output converter?

Is it the maximum watts it can handle from the HU per channel?

Is it an important factor to consider when choosing which one to buy?

Thanks!

Alright, so for example, if my HU is 50w per channel RMS, I should get a line out converter that does at least 50w per channel RMS?

Thanks again!
