Ported box help

I'm in the process of building a box for two Soundqubed HDS215. They each have a 600w RMS and the box is going in a dodge Durango. Will my box sound bad if it is sub up port back, with the port in the center going straight back but isn't "L"ed off toward each side. It will be tuned to 33hz (my preference) 5.5in wide 16in tall 14.9in long(there is more than 5.5in to back side of box after port length). I'm just trying to avoid a bad sounding box(port noise, loading problems,etc).
