caddylac Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 1. i got a few question on on head units i really want to get an alpine these are the 2 im looking at CDA-9887 and CDA-9886. i like the looks of the CDA-9886 better but is the CDA-9887 a better for souns qualtiy. 2. my plans are to run an amp to the door component speakers and a amp(s) to subs do i need a "brain" like a rock ford 3sixty of is my head unit good enough. 3. the factory speaker system has an external amplifier, do i need a harness to hook up my aftermarket cd play since im eliminating it and all speakers wire. can i just find the power, asessorie, and ground wire and hard wire it in or is it just better to get a harness and use the wires i need.
