Installing new head unit.. won't turn on

Thanks everyone for your suggestions as they helped a lot!

I am posting this so that if anyone else experiences this issue they will have some sort of reference.

My pac module was good and was getting enough voltage from the acc wire to power the module. That same acc wire was also used as a switch for the H/U but was not getting 12v so it would not switch on the H/U.. so my diagnosis was the wire wasn't hot anymore.. at least enough to power the H/U. I ended up taking a users advice above and bypassing the acc wire (red) and running my own from the fuse box on the passenger side to the red acc on the H/U. I used the 15A fuse for the sun roof (car doesn't have a sun roof) and it works perfect.. everything reads fine on the voltage meter.
