Anyone use an aeroport bigger than 10 inches?

Hey guys, I am designing some different boxes for my new build. I designed a box with two 10 inch aeros, but then thought about using one large aero instead. Ive found some 14 inch ID sonotube, and would make flared ends with some mdf sandwiched together along with a lot of sanding and router work. My box will be 12ft^3 after displacements and a 14 inch aero gives me a 12.8 port area to volume ratio which seems like a solid number from what I have read. Anyone have any tips for doing an aero this big? I know the general rule is keep the port at least its own diameter away from anything else, but im thinking there might be some leeway to that theory with such a large flared port. Any input is appreciated. I don't have many friends into car audio to bounce ideas off of, which is why I turn to you guys. This is for a pair of hdc318's if anyone is wondering.
