joe.hagerty1990 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Ok im installing 2 soundqubed HDS315 D4s @ 1ohm off a Hifonics BRX2000.1D in a 01 crown vic rite nw i have 1 18" hooked up to a kicker 300 watt amp and the entire trunk lid license plate rear bumper nd a few things under the car rattle from jus tht i kno wen i put this new set up in there its gonna b ungodly nasty sounding so wat im wondering is 1. Will sound deadening (dynamat, fatmat, qmat) help reduce the rattling sugnificantly 2. Which is the best brand to go with 3. how much do i need cuz the trunk is f**king gigantic in this car 4. Will it actually help with the SPL in my vehicle. ive never used sound deadening so its new to me so any help from anybody tht has had rattling problems nd solved it with sound deadening products could help me out id appreciate it
youngbass98 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 It will stop alot of rattling and make your system louder. I personally like second skin deadner. I also filled my trunk lid with great stuff foam for those areas you can't get deadner to 06 monte carlo 2 12 rockford p3s soundstream rubicon 2500 crescendo audio mezzo 6.5 ct sounds 125.4 execution audio and shca wiring 2 xs d3400 on stock alt
