Crossovers and DB drive

so i had a few questions. has anyone ever heard or used db drive before? they seem like a new but relatively ok quality product. I was looking at their subs, amps, and crossovers.

Also i was wondering of the benefit of a crossover in general and if its worth buying? I do want to add more amps than i have pre-outs on my deck so would this be a clean way to duplicate the signal and give me an added set of rca's?

was looking at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Db-Drive-E7-3X-Crossover-DBDE73X-/121183583868?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item1c371abe7c

I was looking at their crossover for myself and their products for a few budget builds i have lined up.

i mean i just ordered soundqubed for my subs and i love my CT amp so im good.
