Atomic 3000.1 / Terrible Customer Service

Hello there,

Just posting here for a bit of advice/ recommendations of what to do next

I had purchased an Atomic 3000.1d a few years ago, amp recently ended up frying out - would go into protect mode when receiving next to no power. Sent it back to Atomic to get fixed for a nice fee of $250 (paid almost $600 for the amp initially) so I figured it was worth the investment. After beating around the bush with the company (Randy Mesa and George WU are whom I contacted mostly) it took almost 3 months to get my amp back. First day having it hooked up, worked for a good 10 minutes or so, and behold - went right back into protect mode and would not even power back on. I emailed and and called multiple times, never getting a straight answer from them, other then them claiming it worked when it left their repair center. I had it all professionally installed, (2 runs of 0 gauge, xs1200 in the back, big 3 done, by a local shop - and they even vouched that it was in fact the amp that was faulty, not the voltage load or anything of that sort. work was done by Crank It Up Audio) Atomic would not budge, and after a handful of my emails, they stopped replying in general.

However after doing some research I've managed to come up with other instances of them doing faulty repairs.

Now my question is, is there any further action I can take to get this amp repaired correctly? I've seen very good reviews for Db-r audio, and got quoted for $300, but after that much of an investment already, a new amp would be most ideal..

Is there any further action I could take against Atomic, or am I out the repair fee that I so willingly dished out?

If it matters, I'm running 2 12" Fully Loaded FI BLs @2 ohms, 2 runs of 0opt, xs1200 in the back, big 3, and a jvc chameleon indash)

that suqs man. i would check with Steve @ AmpMedics in FL. he does awesome work as well and pretty quick with my EXP with him. The amp that you have is a good amp. I would just get it fixed. To find a amp a with the same quality at the price it will cost to fix is gonna be a hard find.

Also the ONLY way i send a amp back to the company it self to get it fixed is if its under warranty, other wise im sending to a amp repair like Steve so i dont have to give life stories about the amp. He will actually test it and can tell you whats wrong with it.
