The first phase was planning. I tried many different angles, ideas on placement, specific goals and stealthy functionality.

I wanted to keep it a family car and still have a cargo space for things like the wives wheelchair, ice chest, groceries ect.

I take long drives often so I needed something that would be pretty loud and extremely dynamic. My taste in music is wide ranged.

Here are some preliminary pictures of the HHR, and key areas I was considering stealth

Sorry I did not take a lot of pictures.

One of the first things I did was acquire gear and prepare the doors. All four doors are deadened and sealed. I used heavy gauge galvanized sheet metal , some Liquid deadener and some Audio Technix deadener. I also used closed cell foam and placed it behind the woofers in each door. The process was the same for each door. I used the audio technix deadener to make seals.

Sorry. I didn’t do an order and didn’t snap enough pictures.

I was trying to stay away from too many modifacations but couldnt make the image work without cutting the a-pillar panel. the stage could be wider. but for this this is what I have come up with. I might change the angle later on. I did not get any pictures of my fabrication process. Sorry.
