Aj11 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 so i got a buddy with a cherry 97 formula. despite my best efforts to get him to buy good stuff he went with used jl w7 tens (for $300 a pop! wtf?) and 2 jl 500/1 v2s (my Old amps,not the same ones but still) well he ordered the t-top box and what a POS! full of gaps and tears anyway he's sending it back. i finally convinced him to build his own with my help instead of going prefab. so the location for the new box will go where his rear seats go. my question is what port area should 2 jl w7 tens have? i keep seeing 43inches Every where but that just seems small. each sub will have about 2cubic feet net.
