2 Ch. amp question

dont bridge the 2 channel to the 12 unless it is stable at 2ohms bridged, which i am guessing its probably not.

That being said, Go ahead and wire up the 12 and the 8 with 2 ohm on one side and 4 on the other. It wont hurt the amp because speakers have rise and in stereo operation a 2 channel see different rise and loads all the time in music.

As far as how good it will sound or how good it will perform, you wont know until you try

Thank you so much, I appreciate the help. You are correct, the amp is only stable at 4 Ohm bridged, 2 Ohm stereo. I had a feeling it would not cause a problem since the two channels can and do see slightly different loads during stereo playback even with two speakers of the same rating due to the dynamic nature of impedance of a speaker as it goes through the range of frequency. I just wasn't sure if it was safe to have that large of a load difference as, like I said, I haven't worked in the mobile electronics field for about 30 years. I have built simple 2 channel amps so I have a basic understanding of how they work but as I said the ones I built were basic projects while in school studying electronics years ago.
