rfbasshead Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 i have a t1000 and 2 p3 10's...now when i first got it it was fine but now when im stopped for a long time with the music at high volume the bass turns off but when i give it some bass the bass turns back on..so im assuming that the battery or alternator isnt strong enough so it cuts off at idle..so what do i get first a battery or alternator? i dont have the big 3 done

Go to autozone and have them hook up to your car and test you electrical. It would be a good idea to do big three and better battery anyway. 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold

I would start with a nice agm battery and do the big three because it won't hurt. I stick with xs power but I had a p1000-1bd in a 2006 Tacoma and only upgraded the battery to a duralast platinum agm and that was enough.
