not sure if this is the right place but..

i just got this system all plugged up & its hitting its highs decently enough but im not getting any lows.. bass that used to hit hard on my weaker systems isnt picking up at all.

so my question is should i adjust any of the filters? lower the gain?

my setup is:

stock headunit

power acoustik rep1-3500d (monoblock, running at 2ohms)

1 oz audio matrix elite 12' (wired to 2ohms)

like i said it hits but without any lows whatsoever.. any tips?

im well aware a stock hu is garbage but it worked for my old setup so my question really is are there any adjustments i can hit on the amp to improve this problem? high pass, low pass, subsonic? that kinda stuff

thanks in advance

What's your LPF and subsonic filters set to?

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

subsonic is still where it is when u pull the amp outta the box (i dont hav a multimeter),,

lpf is rated between 20 & 50,, its about 3/4 of the way to 50 (just adjusted it)

its helped a little but im still not getting it. like even on songs with a lotta highs in quick succession u can barely hear where the tone ends & the next one picks up..

if anyone actually thinks they can help ill make a video to help explain
