I have been competing in bass race for a while now and I wanted a little change from my previous setup. Previous system consisted of (2) 15” BTL’s (fully loaded) with (2) Kicker ZX2500.1’s. The stuff I have had and that I will leave alone are my Kicker SS Components, as well as Kicker 6.5” midbass, which run off a Kicker ZX850.4. Power will be the same, from Kinetik batteries, and a 200amp Irragi HO Alt. Sound deadening is from Secondskin audio, 2 layers throughout the entire car. I will go ahead and share some pics of my previous builds to show you what was in there prior to what I will be working on now. First the wiring, Kicker 1/0 Hyperflex wiring FTW!!! This stuff is awesome!! Fuses and RCA’s from KnuKonceptz Iraggi Alt Two shop packs of Damplifier Pro! Great stuff! Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!! I cut them out of ¼” mdf and then I used this rubber coating to prevent noise, moisture or anything else messing with them. Also, I didn't get pics, but I put dynamat all around the speaker to prevent any rattles or anything like that. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!!
