MACnonsence6 Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Ok guy in doing an install atm on an 01 impalla and I can't seem to really find anywhere to route the power cable threw the firewall on the passenger side where have u guys ran yours I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
Aj11 Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 i did one last summer. there Is room. go down to where the floor meets the bend up into the tire well. do you know what i mean? not quite the floor not the firewall right where they meet. like 4 inches up from the floor right next to the Fender well jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
MACnonsence6 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Report Posted February 24, 2014 ya thats where we ended up going into the winshield wire dam. had to drill though. looked pretty clean only 4g cable but we had to go to the accessory or jump post being we couldnt get the terminal on the actually battery post itself. so when we do the big 3 it looks like ill have to make a copper buss bar being how the bolt for the terminals are.
