Guest MegaloManiac Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 12" si mag in 1.3 cube sealed with polyfil ~600watts 6.5 high energy HERTZ mids in door IB maybe 85ish watts Vifa d26 tweeters i pillars maybe 25 watts source is a Eclipse cd7000 200a rag ; big 3 1/0awg first impressions with amp: i noticed right at the beginning it was a current hog, lights dim on idle. but at higher rpms its gone. so im fine there, its "tolerable" extra power on front stage is nice, its doing exactly what it needs to. that bass knob did make me worried, but its really just a design flaw from MY POINT OF VIEW. and when amp turns on and off, you can hear those oldskool relays "click" on/off. not an issue but it did scare me at first cause i thought i blew a fuse. for a minute there i thought i got screwed out of $350. further listening today: sounds fine, works like a champ, and was happy bass knob works now. and its nice not to see soo many wires and amps i trunk i dont know why these amps didnt sell, i think its badass having a 5channel amp for a single amp setup. every SQer would be in love with it.. now keep in mind this is only 2 nights 1 day of listening. so i will post a further in depth review in a few weeks after i can see it will suit my needs.
