I have everything set up in the car, however my wife and I like different (bass) levels if you know what I mean. Sometimes I just want to shake up the neighborhood, so I was curious about this Bass control knob. As it will allow me to adjust the volume on the amp/subs.. without leaving the driver seat. Is this a simple plug and play, or do I set the gain just below distortion level, and it then acts as a simple volume control ?? It also appears I am not allowed to set up a pasted link :0(

Some of the knobs are remote gain and some are a boost knob. You NEVER use bass boost on a amp. All it does is cause distortion and will blow subs.Now depending on who makes your amp depends if it's a boost or gain knob. Most people here say buy a PAC-lc1 and use that. I on the other hand use my knob that came with my amp. Zz_005_zZ Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Posted March 5, 2014 The amp I have is an Audiopipe aspm 2000. It has a male connector similar to that found on a set of headphones. Not a home phone-line type.
jarrius Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Yea then don't use the audiopoops knob. Look in to a PAC- lc1 it connects to your rca's going from your deck to your amp. Then you will need another set to go from the leaving side of the lc1 to the amp.
