Swampy Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 I am looking for an amp to push my DC Audio m1 Level 5 18" sub. The RMS for the sub is posted at 2000W, but i have had multiple DC Audio Reps tell me that it will take up to 3.5k with a clean signal with no problems. Im looking to upgrade in the near future, or as long as it will take me to either find a twin for this sub or just get fed up with the search and buy new ones, so if i buy a big amp, i want one that is capable of handling both subs. (~4kw @.5 ohm) I also wouldnt mind getting one amp for each sub (~2kw @ 1 ohm) As i looked through the for sale section, most everything i saw was locked out, so i thought this would be a viable option. Since i am on a slight budget, i would love to find a solid used amp that wont break the bank. ($200-$550) *preferred amp brands would be things like; DC Audio, Crescendo, SKAR, AQ audio or anything comparable. Thanks guys. I don't claim to know how to solve anything, I just practice the basics. There is nothing worse than wasting hours over a problem that should have taken 5 mins. Anything I post and claim to know, I know simply because of a lesson learned from a mistake on my part.
