Blake Farrar Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 Im looking to upgrade to a cresendo 3500 and a sundown zv4 18. Im wanting to put the box in the back seats in my 03 monte carlo, so if anyone has a box design or could help me that would be great.
jarrius Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Don't do it. Get the mesuments of your trunk post them up and we will tell you what size sub you can fit in there correctly. With putting any type of box on a back seat you can cause some serious damage... And not because of bass. It will be because the box crushes your head in to the stearing wheel and kills you if you get in to a accident or stop to hard. Other then it being just unsafe as he'll it will sound like shit. Don't know how big a monte trunk is but may be 2 12's or 2 15's at most off the 3.5k will sound better and be louder the. Blake Farrar Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Posted April 11, 2014 would the box for a 18 be that big?? i have a false floor in my backseats and its pretty spacious but im open to anything i currently have 2 sundown e12s on a hofnics 1100.1 brx and it sounds good but i just want more.

You have to slam on your breaks and the momentum of doing this sends the 150 pound box flying toward your head... Guess what will happen....DEATH!!!! Now as I said before It will also sound like shit not being in the proper location. I have a zcon 18 in my back seat bolted to a false floor it is just temporary though it pretty much takes up the whole back seat but it is definitely doable.
