Pencil92 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 Currently I'm running two powerbass 10's in a ported enclosure with the powerbass 1200.2 amp which is only 500watts rms. I acquired a pair of older kicker comp cvr 15's dual 4 ohm voice coil and they are 500watt rms each. The box they were in was poorly built and wouldn't fit in the trunk of my 08 Mazda 6 so it became fire wood. Wondering if I should go sealed or ported and also wondering the best amp to run the two of them. Don't care if it's a 4ohm or 1 ohm load that I wire them to but wonder what amp would be best dollar for dollar to feed them the power they need. Figuring on 800-1000watt rms monoblock or 2 channell bridgeable but having problems finding one in a fair price range. Not really wanting to spend 1000 on an amp since I am currently on a tight enough budget. Any ideas are welcome.
