youngbass98 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Share Posted April 27, 2014 i am trying to find a good head unit that will fit my needs. i have for my front stage a set of 6.5 crescendo audio mezzos on 2 channels of my ct sounds 125.4 on the other channels i plan on running 4 8 inch pro audio mids (undecided). i have the front stage crossovered just right but my problem is how i will cut off the top or bottom of the frequency range. now i was going to low pass on the amp 5000hz but would this head unit be able to high pass at 80 ( pioneer deh-x9600bhs ). and i am pretty sure it can. currently i have a standard walmart alpine. would this be considered running active, just wondering. and if any other suggestions on headunits would be appreciated also i want to stay under 200$.
