Gatorcity
well...i would def suggest purgatory to be a HIGH priority!!! seeing as how it is the closest and nicest of the 3 IMO!!! another good thing about purgatory...if you dont have someone in front of you, or behind you...it really feels like you have the course to yourself!!! i believe there is atleast 40-45 yards of rough/hills between each holes that run side by side!!! very relaxing round of golf!!! p.s. add this to your word document... play hole 13 from the very very BACK tee!!! that is the whole you see from the road...its like 747 from the tips! supposedly its the longest non mountain hole in the world!! here it is...its called "Everlasting Torment" Edited March 19, 2008 by mooredezign Quote comic on tv: I got a concussion from playing t-ball when i was younger, we dont really have time to go into that! . . . . 15 seconds pass . . . . . my girl: no one pitches to you in t-ball, do they??? 99GPGTX
i did not know it was that long... 18 on the plantation course is 650+ but its in the mountains and if you know where to hit your drive you can get a lot of roll and get on in two pretty easy. That what sucks about golf in FL, you dont really get that advantage of really hilly terrain. everything here is flat, so 650+ down here is a hell of a shot to get there in 3.
