box is tuned at 30 hz. will a subsonic filter thats set at 30 hz at a 12 db slope eliminate 20-30 hz notes? sorry i'm a noob. i definitely play a lot of electronic music and rap (gorilla zoe, psyph, jeezy, tech nine) that has a lot of low notes. I want to make sure i get the flex and feel of those low notes.

if your box is tuned at 30hz you don't cut off at 30hz you go 3-5hz below tunning. so 25hz

most decks besides Pioneer have a 30hz cut off anyway.

a -12db slope will cut your power by (i think) 60% so you will still feel it but not as much.

most music (songs) don't have notes below 30hz anyway.

but it depends on how high or low your q is for your cut off. if it's low it can start to cut off at 35hz and if it's high it can Start at 31hz

but in normal applications your fine nothing to worry about
