I have played with the dims and came up with a 1.24 cuft before displacement (18.5"wide x 8"deep x 14.5"tall) using 3/4" 17 ply baltic birch. Will these dims work alright for a sealed box for the two 8's? I have the sheet but I haven't ripped it yet. Just thought I would get some input before I make the cuts. 18-20" wide is about all I have to play with. The wife wants to be able to put groceries in the trunk still. BTW, I did check the "box spec & cut sheet" on Sundown's site but it's a 3.5 cuft ported box. It's actually the same box as shown for the dual SA-8 and the dual E8. These SD-2's are designed with sealed in mind so I figured there would be a specific box spec for it that could be downloaded and followed. Guess not.
