Hey guys, just a thought here. What happens if say you have an amp that needs 250A and your electrical can only supply 150A. Is there any danger of this kind of setup??

Voltage will drop below the normal operating voltage and the amplifier will not like that, nor will the rest of the vehicle's electrical system.

Ok makes sense. Cause at times I hear the bass reduce after a few minutes of play. My mate is running 2500 rms off a stock 80 amp alternator and a 70 AH battery.

Probably not getting 2500w out of it. The danger of that is you risk damaging the amplifiyer. So it's better to upgrade the vehicles electrical to suplly the larger current demand and not damage the amplifier.

It's like insurance.

Okey thanks a lot. We thinking of adding an extra 70 AH battery, cause we don't have access to H/O alternators. Don't know how the response will be lol. The big three has already been 0 gauged. Thanks again
