Good place to keep some of this stuff together: 2 RF Power T215D2's, rebuilt with upgraded parts. 1500w D1 coils, dual spiders. Subs wired @ 2ohm. 2 RF Power 800a2s with added fans to help keep things cool. Sealed MDF wedge box 3/4 MDF with lots of corner bracing. About 2.8 cu/ft per sub. Anyway, on with the pics. Here's the Golf. Done most of the big3, running single 0 gauge from the Yellow top to the trunk, upgraded the alternator from 90 amp stock to 120 amp from another VW with all the power bells and whistles mine doesn't have. Here are the 15s getting reconed by my bro in New York. This dude was like.....wtf these weigh so much!!! Beautiful subs!
scrilla Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 Cleaned out the old build, start fresh with an empty boot. Left an old 400a4 in there for some tunes while everything else was put together. Started by cutting out some of the fins to allow airflow from the fans.
scrilla Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 Took a break from main part of the build and installed this el cheapo volt meter in the dash. Seems to be fairly accurate, I'm happy with it.

F##K the DD-1. I don't care if you or anyone buys one. (well i do, but that isn't my point) Get an O-scope in the very minimum and learn how to use it or you are just guessing your settings like every other noob. once you master the O-scope then step up to a DD-1 or even better a DD-1 Plus.
