noobslayer77 Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 Going to have 3000 watts worth of power and a d3400 under the hood. I've been recommended a d3100 in the back, on the XS website it says it is good for 4000-5000 watt systems. it has 110 amp hours, the xp 3000 has 120 amp hours but is recommended for 3000 watt systems. I thought that more amp hours would mean it would be able to provide more current. So why is the d3100 recommended for higher power systems? 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited 2 13w7s skar 3500 cnf mids (soon) xs batteries
martydmb Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 The d3100 can put out amps faster than the xp. The xp has a higher capacity to hold which I dont think is much but saves on weight but cant quickly give amps out like the d3100 but can put out the amps and hold it.. if that makes sense. There is a question like this in the xs forum I just read it 20 min ago and he gave the owners response to the question between the two 05 dodge magnum rt DEH-80PRS Rockford fosgate T600.4 st200 tweeters Sundown Neo Pro 6.5 v2's 2 Saz-3500v2- Toolmaker dual 1/0 inputs 2 Sundown ZV4 12" D1 1/0 Sky High Power wire OFC 3 XS D3100- Toolmaker battery terminals Mechman 320 Amp Alt Smd Voltmeter KnuKoncept 1/0 OFC
