Ahh the time is drawing ever so near. I can place my kicker order this summer and I am prepping everything (including the forms).

Here is the small list of things to be heading into the ole truck:

4 Kicker 08 model L7 15s (dual 2s)

2 08ZX2500.1s

2 sets of Kicker 6 1/2" SS components

1 set of Kicker 5 1/4" SS component

or

1 set of Polk SR6500

1 set of Polk SR5250

1 08 model ZX8504 215 x 4

Kicker 1/0 awg power kit

kicker 1/0 awg wiring EVERYWHERE

HU: Eclipse AVX5000 or AVN 6620

w/ back up cam, sirius, ipod adapter

DYNAMAT . . . 1 layer?

I was planning a ported box at about 45 hz for the 15s, gonna take out the middle seat and make a "center console" for my amps.

Something similar to this:

Got my prices from dom for the alts. Looking at 2 300 amp alts and the kit

Keeping my yellow top as the starter and I am expecting a package or 3 from kinetik soon . . .

I'm itching to get started, I hate waiting . . . tell me what you guys think!

That's gonna be an awesome system man. But why are you gonna tune to 45 hz? You should do 35.

Theirs nothing he should or shouldent do. I changed my tuneing from 28hz to 32, 35, 37 and then 40 which is better for me for daily and gets very loud compared to how 28hz was. Wanted a loud daily setup. Its also going to be a wall, you should tune walls slightly higher.

SWEET!!!

I'm not extremely knowledgeable about car audio, but if I'm not mistaken if you are taking away from the cab area of the vehicle a higher tuning box would work better. Not quite sure if that is accurate though. My current box is tuned at 40 hz and sounds just fine.
