Ricky Reboot Dean
I got some old Celestion G12M-70. Old subs but found them for free. Need to be re-coned but the coil is still good no scratch or anything but I can not find any recommendation for air space. So would it be a good idea to throw them in a box with 1.69 cubic feet tuned to around 30-32 hz. Second I got some Kenwood Jl-507 towers that have some damage on box and is affecting sound I was going to build a new box with the same tuning to around 30-32 Hz. with 1.552 cubic feet of air space. If anyone could help it is a summer project for me.I used re box calculator for both dimensionsOther info--Celestion G12M-70->Need to be re-coned (both of them)>Do not have a whole lot of excursion>Coils still almost perfect (90%-99%)-Kenwood JL-507->Need to be re-coned (bought them with a while in the left side 12" sub......kids)>12" sub works (great), Mids works on both, tweeters work>Top corner on one is broken (air leaks from it) and the other is crushed in a spot and looks bad
