Gmansontos Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 I will be running two kicker L7 15's on a kx2400.1 in a slot ported enclosure. They are going in a 2006 Chevy trailblazer LS regular size not the ext. i want my port to be the same direction as my subs which I plan to face towards the rear of the vehicle. I know I've seen tons of people with this equipment granted more likely with the older zx2500.1, what I'm asking is does any one know what box volume and port area works best with this setup. In other words does any one know the sweet spot. I would like to tune to 33hz.

Box I have in there now is 8.87 cubes total wheel well to wheel well and as tall as the rear seats and deep enough to have roughly 8-10" between the box and rear hatch panel. So using 3/4 MDF 44" wide 21" tall 20" deep. But this box was for L3 15's just giving a better idea of how much room to work with to hit that sweet spot.
