System install, how did I do for setting of gains?

With the kind and generous help of Kingpen over at CACO, we ran some tests on my setup. Results can be seen here:

Ironically enough, the JL audio method used to set the gains by ddm was spot on (not saying this will always be the case for all setups) and no gain adjustment to the 1000/1 was necessary. I'm please with the numbers that the 1000/1 put out, but it sure does get hot.

Looks like I'll be limited on what I can do to bring it much past 136 db until I can get a HO alternator. Just waiting on Ohio gen to develop one. I'm going to put an XS 3400 in it to help protect the amps. Curious to see what the SPL meter will read with the box turned around so that the sub faces the cabin and the seats folded down.

Once a HO alternator that doesn't cause issues with the factory electronics is available, I may get a 2nd 12w7 and wire it up for a 1.5 ohm load to squeeze out a few more db.
