jroot
Name: Trans Am 1979 Trans Am (1979)Date Added: ÚTE_ADDED%Owner: jrootShort Description: None ProvidedView Vehicle I have a 1979 Trans Am with 43,000 original miles on it and it has a completely original interior. The radio which appears to be in great shape stopped working. So I ordered a Rockford Fosgate two channel amp, a pair of Rockford Fosgate prime 6x6's, and a bluetooth receiver acting as the head unit. I was able to do all of this with drilling 6 holes.( 4 holes to hold the amp, one for the ground, and one for the switch) I used an un-used fuse for the remote line and put a switch on it to have full control of the power. It's a nice way to bring great sound fairly cheep (under $250) to an old classic and keep it looking original.
