Dash4nier Posted October 23, 2014 Report Share Posted October 23, 2014 So I am currently working on building a hybrid subwoofer, and while looking across the internet to find a voice coil to pop into it, I came across this....http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-DUAL-2-OHM-VOICE-COIL-8-LAYERS-VC130406-/131019805811 It looks pretty nice, aluminum 8 layer windings, 3 inch diameter...but the one thing it didn't have was an RMS rating on it. I was wondering if anyone else has used one of these in their projects or could take a guess at how much power it could hold (since i am still relatively new to the car audio industry) in a well cooled TC sounds basket and neodymium motor assembly.
