Jay Bee Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Hey Guys, I have a SMD 18" with 5x XS Power D1400 and a GZPA 1.4000DXII The current dimensions of the box are: 19" Deep 21.5" High 37" Wide I have this space available to use: 31.5" Deep 34" High 52" Wide My previous subs were the JL Audio W7 13.5" I just built the ported box to the specification on their website. Can anyone tell me what would be the optimal Size ported box for my SMD ? Thanks in advance for any help guys.

Aj11 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 7 plus cubes... 150sqin of port tuned anywhere from 28/33hz i wouldn't go bigger then 8cubes or less then 120sqin of port. a nice ten inch aero would look sick with that sub jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
