elliott2292 Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Hi guys, would anyone be able to help me design a box for my SSD 18"?My max dimensions are 35" Wide - 25" Height - 25" depth, I'm looking to play low lows, hopefully around the mid 20hz range.The Box will be used in a hatchback with the sub facing up and the port firing off the boot, but I am struggling with the dimensions of the port at the moment.Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The amp is 2.5krms at 1ohm but will have to dial it down because I don't think the sub would like that much power! Will probably scope it around 1500wrms. And that is the max dimensions, right up to the boot.
Cj Kumz Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 That sub will handle that 2500w fine don't worry about it. My google sketch up is messed up so can't draw you up something. But the dimensions are as follows: Outer dims: 24H 35W 20D Port dims : 21.75H 4.5W and 19.75 long. Box should have an extra baffle and bracing. This will give you a 6 cube box tuned to 35 hz.
