Box ???s

I plan on getting a tahoe/yukon and would like 4 18s i know some boxes need a certain amout of apace in front of the port like if i ported it back it would be close to the hatch i know steve(car audio god) has done it so i know it can be done but i sidnt know if theres a specific way to do it or it depends on the box itself but i had the idea it may be stupid idk to port the box towards the front inbetween te bucket seats/captains chairs whatever there called idk if it would sound wrong or not just a ? About my dream build ive always wondered about and no im not copying Mr. Meade im not planing on using the smd's although there are awsome
