newwbie ; what hz to tune alpine type r 10s

I got a pair of 10" alpine type r's. I hav and them right now in a prefab box, I know for a fact I'm not getting full potential out of them in that box. Question is ,Wt Hz do I buy or make an enclosure too? Also how many cubic feet so I have for both subs??

I'm your guy, I've said this to many times now..I'll say it again. I've owned almost every size and model r ever made.

if they are the newer type rs (1000w rms black cone) and tens i would do 2 cubes net each (4cubes total) with a 32/33hz tune. a single 6inch aero port would do nicely.

try to get As close to rated as you can.
