couchlockd
i thinking of getting 2 12" alpine type r's. the new ones are the 12D4 models but the older two models prior to that are plentiful around here used on CL and the like. were there any issues with past models like the 1243d or the 1242d they few times i have heard an alpine typre r, i felt they were pretty damned decent, they took power and sounded good. i like them they seem tight, and meaty enough to take a beating from a p1000x1 so alpine users, any models to stear clear of, or is there one known to have a better option along the way, or is the newest one the one to get.?? GSanders17
If you can get them for a good price go for it. I ran 4 of the older ones in my car at one point in time, I loved them. They sounded great, took more than rated power and were plenty loud.
