load350z Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Hey members, just wanted to make sure I'm doing this correct. As of right now I have 2 runs of 0g wires from the front battery to 2 batteries in the trunk with the rear batteries grounded in the trunk (no ground wires from front to back). I just order 4 pairs of dual amp inputs ( pair for power and pair for ground on the amp). Now I wanted to know is it ok to run the 2 additional power wires to the amp from the batteries in the back or do 2 additional runs of power wires from the front battery to rear and just ground the 2 additional wires in the trunk? 2002 Nissan Altima v6 3.5 Four Incriminator Audio Death Penalty 15s 5 Pairs DS18 Pro Audio X6.5BM 3 Pairs DS18 Super Tweeters Taramps TS2000x4 (Mids Amp) Incriminator Audio 6.4 (Tweeter Amp) Incriminator Audio 40.1 subs amp Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3 3 shuriken batteries (BT-80 under the hood) (2 BT-120 in the trunk) with isolator Big 3 zero gauge. Guest Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Just run the power wires from the batteries in the back. You will be fine. You only need to run more wires from the front to back if you are going to be drawing more current than your two runs of zero gauge can handle. If it's good zero gauge wire you are probably okay running up to about 600-700amps of current, anything more than that and you might want to add an additional run of 0 gauge.
