Question About Box Dimensions

I used the RE Box Calculator and i ended up getting these dimensions...something tells me that if i cut all these parts out, they wouldn't fit together. Designed for 2 12's w/ .75" MDF, 4.6ft²

Bottom/Top Plate - 35" x 24"

Left Plate - 23.25" x 13.5" <----

Right Plate - 22.5" x 13.5" <----

Back Plate - 35" x 13.5"

Front Plate - 29.25" x 13.5" (shorter because of opening for port right?)

Port Depth - 17.5" x 13.5"

Port Width - 4" x 13.5"

Why don't the left and right plates match each other when the box is rectangular.

right side is going to be short due to that being your port side. Same with the front plate, it as well will be smaller due to the port. I myself do not like the RE box calculator, i had some problems when using it for my last box.
