Hello

Im trying again

Im currently building a Audi a4 avant

Ive done the whole car from scratch, new paint, etc etc etc.

the whole car used to be a 1996, now its pretty much a 2014 modell =)

Anyway Ive had my stereo pretty much in boxes for 10 years now, and finaly i can start building =)

Head unit and prosessor

Alpine IVA-D900

alpine pxa-h700

Amps C2K COMPETITION:

Zapco C2K4KW x1 bass amp

Zapco C2K3.0 x1 Center Amp

Zapco C2K4.0 x2 Front and rear amp

Speakers:

emphaser xt3 6 1/2" x2 front and rear

Rockford_Fosgate_X152S center dash mounted

Subs:

JBL GTI MKII 12"

Alternator:

Mechman 320amp x1

Battery:

Odessy PC2250 x1

Sønakk Maxima x6

Also have Capacitor

rodek capacitor 40f x2

Im thinking about cutting them out, Not sure if the beneficial anymore ( Tips here aprisiated)

Now i had all the stereo in the car at one point, before complete rebuild

I had the JBLS in a 20x20liter closed box, and i guess they worked pretty great then also =)

But now i want to try something else.

I want to completly use up my Trunk space on a 6th order box

Now i dont have much experience with other than closed boxes, so any help apprisiated

I use Bassbox 6 pro atm + WinISD, but i really kinda lack the knowledge to propperly understand what im doing.

Ive tryed reading myself up, but ive found there is so much information. I have not found any propper post where i can really relate.

So my main conserns atm is Box volum chamber 1 and 2 VS Port sizes I want square ports and having trouble calculating it propper

What i think so far:

I think 22liter front chamber / each 12"

64 liter rear chamber / each 12"

Now what i dont get is box HZ vs Port HZ

On front chamber ive tryed to get 65hz on box? and 60-140HZ on port, not sure if im correct here either

on rear chamber Ive tryed to get 15-20 HZ on box? and about 28hz on port. Not sure if im correct here

Also im not sure if it whould be better to forexample run the 2 12"s in 2 chambers instead of 4 etc. front 44l and back 128l

Materials im using is 30mm MDF

Ive come up with a couple of designs so far, and it whould be great to get some feedback on them also

Ive come up with theese two boxes so far, the right one is who i worked on today

Any comment suggestions?
