not necessarily. the cone area isnt doubling, and the power isnt doubling. tho...both power and cone area are increasing...he should definitely see an increase. 25% power and 25% cone area

correct

well figure this, in a perfect world 100 % power gain should be plus 3DB (so 25% power gain would equal .75db right there) as far as cone area is concerned it works on the same scale with cone area (so another .75 db then)

So at min. we should anticipate a 1.5db gain and it certainly isn't a perfect world now is it? :)

remember

we gotta seal the wall off

deaden

charge

add a second alt.

dial amps in

break woofers in the match the coils

and find our new freq with that sub in (should go up to 49 or 50 instead of 48)

you turned purple?hmmmmmmm

yeah. i jave a hard time breathing on a daily basis. my asthma is pretty bad sometime. the bass pretty much took to air away from me. it was intense. what people fail to realize is that bass affects everyone differently. ss audio is used to his set up now so it does not hurt him. but if you put someone who is not used to it in there it will hurt like hell. i have never really sat in a extremely loud car before. jake's shit is the loudest i have ever heard
