bgowdy31
Ok so i have constantly playing around with enclosure calculator apps for like a month straight trying to learn how to use them in order to make a slot ported box. I have never designed or built one but its going to be the easier option for me to do the trunk the way i want. I wanted to go with a 8" aeroport but theres not enough space on the front plate of the enclosure for it one, and to me a 6" aero is not enough so i i decided to try and do a slot port.I will be running these on a Soundstream Ta1.3k @ 1 ohm.My goal with this is leaning more on the SPL side then just daily. This is my first time trying this out so go easy on me lol. This is what i came up with: Vehicle is a 99 Honda Accord EX coupe 2 Soundqubed Hds3 12s - d41 Soundstream Ta1.3kwEnclosure-(These dimensions do not include extra layers or baffles, this is just to get the space and tuning down) Subs and port forward in to cabin33-L X 13-H X 27.25-DGross - 5.40 internal volPort - 5.25-L x 11.5-H (60.37 square inches of port)Port will be centered between the subs2 Hds3 12s displacement: .26 (.13 ea)Port Displacement: .7945s/rounding(back corners): .104.25 cubes net after displacements14.20 sq inches per cubetuned to 36hz(36.38hz) 99 HONDA ACCORD EX COUPE1 American Bass HD15-D1 ~ THE PLAN- ?
