I'm not all that good about fabricating brackets etc so I definitely need an alternator that is direct bolt on. I've looked around and it seems that most reputable sites only offer a direct bolt on for the 3.0. Has anyone heard if there is actually a big difference in mounting between the two engine sizes? Mechman makes a nice 240 amp for 400 but its specified for a 3.0 v6. Also does anyone know of someone who does make one for a 2.2l? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
