MACnonsence6 Posted April 4, 2015 Report Share Posted April 4, 2015 hey there guys got me a pair of sundown x8d4s and planning to run them on a prototype 2.5k amp. my cars an 08 eclipse so a hatch currently im running a pair of the sa8v2s at 2ohm and im really impressed but looking for something more. my max dementions are pretty big but id like to stay within a smaller section of the trunk so i have some trunk space so well say a max of 14hx32wx14d also not sure what the best orientation for these would be currently i have the sa8v2s subs forward port to the driver side and it works pretty well contemplating going subs up port to the drivers side but again not sure what the best case would be so thats why im here asking for help I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha.
