Building a box for my car i want to hit the low 30hz its going to be a daily system not going to db drag it i just want a low hitting monster i have stock alt with 2 batteries in the trunk all the wires are 0/2 enclosure tune to 29.97hz using torres box tuner I will be running a Sundown X12 in this build isnt my first build im well rounded in the wood shop and have all the basics covered when it comes to building boxs

Would like to see what everyone thinks of this build only had this sub for about a month now and i think shes good and broken-in not sure if it will perform well in this enclosure wanted some experienced opinions

Tune: 29.97hz

Box Net: 3.22 cu ft

Port area: 42 sq in

3.2 cubes is a little big especially if you running above rated power. What amp do you have?? Also you could still tune a little higher like 32hz or 33hz and still be able to dig in for the lows. This way you can keep part of your highs too. Other than that the box looks great, just add an extra baffle if you havnt and some bracing too

Thanks CJ i definatly appreciate the info i will go for a 33 hz tune i was also thinking 29 was a little too low and i have never used any bracing in the box i have always used a double baffel for the sub but never bracing how significant is it and what would be the pros of doing that
