Dewayne89 Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 I've always considered diamond audio to be sq oriented and of good quality so when I bumped into my 1000.1 "flying d" for 70 bucks I grabbed it to replace my kenwood "1000" . While it's deffinetly making more power I don't think it sounds that great. Are diamond amps no good or is it just because I went from an ab amp to a d?
RainStryke Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 You probably have the gain too high and are hearing distortion.
Dewayne89 Posted July 10, 2015 Author Report Posted July 10, 2015 Although I just tuned it by ear it does have a light that tells me if it's clipping and it seldomly ever comes on only if I crank the volume. Tuning could be a big part of it though. Is this a good quality amp?
