byron2817 Posted April 11, 2008 Report Share Posted April 11, 2008 well i got 3 pc (including mine) with 1 dsl service.since i hooked up the router the internet disconects for like 15sec and then connect again.what do u guy's thi nk is the problem.sometimes it even say's the a conflict with an IP adress Quote NEED TO GET LOUDER!!! Dale Posted April 11, 2008 Report Share Posted April 11, 2008 If you know how, I suggest that your first step be to assign static IPs to each of your PCs. That could also be why your router is tearing down your connection every now and then. I had a really weird problem with my netgear where it wouldn't be stable on my DSL line in full duplex mode (send and receive data simultaneously). But first, fix your IPs in the properties of your network connections and see if that solves the issue. If not, we'll move on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
